How a portrait session runs

We plan first

Location, light, time of day and what you want the images to say. Golden hour is real, but a good north facing window at 11am is just as good and far more reliable.

You do not have to pose

Most of the session is walking, talking and small adjustments. The frames people like best are almost never the ones where someone was told to hold still.

Colour and black and white

Every gallery comes with both where the frame supports it. Black and white tends to be where the portraits people print end up.
